Important to report all crimes to Police
Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania wants people to report all crimes to Tasmania Police, even apparently minor ones.
Ms Jan Dunsby, State President of Neighbourhood Watch, says “ It is important to report all crimes, even minor ones, to Tasmania Police. This helps local Police to build up a picture of what may be a developing problem in a community, such as one or more individuals starting out on anti-social behaviour. This gives the Police the chance to identify perpetrators and talk to them about their behaviour before it develops into a more serious problem, such as burglary”, she says.
