Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania Welcomes
Blitz on Drunken Violence

Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania has welcomed Tasmania Police participation in Operation Unite, the national weekend of action against drunken violence.

Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania President, Jan Dunsby, said that alcohol related violence had become a major problem in Australia . “ One only has to read the comments from emergency nurse Emma Onelli about the drunken behaviour in the Royal Hobart Hospital in last Saturday's Mercury to see just how serious this issue has become in Tasmania”, she said.

Neighbourhood Watch Tasmania welcomes this blitz on drunken violence and fully supports the action of Tasmania Police.
